Keeping Baby safe when you're on the go can be a challenge for new parents. Especially with recent surveys showing many hotels offer guests out-of-date or poorly maintained cribs, parents must be extra cautious when using second-hand or aged infant equipment which may not meet current safety standards. But new parenthood doesn't have to be a non-stop worry. With a little common sense, and the following tips, you can easily childproof a hotel room or relative's house. Remember to always:

Carry your own nightlight and bathtub drain cover.
